An organization called Pan American Health Organization issued a statement to start a movement, aimed at beating the crap out of reparative therapy, criminalizing it and marginalizing it. Below we have rewritten their wicked statement which has been dictated by the radical gay-lib movement. We rewrite it from our, persecuted, point of view. (Click here for the original version).
We have replaced the heavily stigmatized words ‘reparative therapy’ with the more accurate words ‘efforts to look into sexual orientation issues’. Please look when you exchange their offensive language about being ‘truly gay’ with the words ‘being potentially bisexual’. No matter how exclusively gay you have chosen to publicly identify yourself to be, modern science has it that in spite of experiencing same-sex attractions, you always are also capable of experiencing opposite sex attractions. It is merely a question of deeply entrenched and usually unconscious resistances, leading to a deep heterophobic rejection.
We can argue at length with the gay-libbers who managed to let PAHO embrace their radical gay-lib world-view. So cumbersome and tiring. But the best way to demonstrate our point, is to alter their words and world-view with our more accurate way of describing the human condition. Then a reader can make his own choice. After all, the now slandered phrase ‘reparative therapy’ is not about crushing same-sex attractions, nothing of the sort. But reparative therapy is a mild and compassionate way to assist a motivated client to look into sexual orientation issues and to broaden sexual horizons with a licensed therapist. Aim is to investigate every one’s innate bisexual identity, or even heterosexual identity if that happens to be an outcome.
This is what you get when you see what they are actually writing about us as ex-gays or bisexuals:
“Services that purport to help potentially bisexual people figure out orientation issues lack medical justification and represent a serious threat to the health and well-being of affected people, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) said in a position statement launched on 17 May, the International Day against Homophobia. The statement calls on governments, academic institutions, professional associations and the media to expose these practices to help bisexuals and to promote respect for all diversity except of course for bisexuality.
Twenty two years ago, on May 17, the World Health Assembly removed homosexuality from the list of mental disorders.
“Since homosexuality is not a disorder or a disease, it does not require any form of questioning. There is no medical indication for broadening or looking into sexual orientation,” said PAHO Director Dr. Mirta Roses Periago. Practices known to help bisexuals figure out their sexual feelings represent “a serious threat to the health and well-being—even the lives—of affected people.”
The PAHO statement notes that there is a professional consensus that homosexuality is a natural variation of human sexuality, but the assertion of Sigmund Freud that bisexuality is normal, must be denounced. However, several United Nations bodies have confirmed the existence of “psychotherapists” and “clinics” that promote help for bisexuals to broaden their horizon. It appears that they actually discuss heterosexuality.
The document notes that no rigorous scientific studies demonstrate any efficacy of efforts to investigate or discuss heterosexual orientation. However, there are many testimonies about the severe harm to mental and physical health that such “services” can cause. Being bisexual means repression of healthy gay sexual orientation, and has been associated with feelings of guilt and shame, depression, anxiety, and even suicide.
As an aggravating factor, there have been a growing number of reports about how degrading these bisexuals behave, and the physical and sexual harassment they perpetrate on others. In some cases, these bisexuals are known have subjected adolescents to such abusive interventions involuntarily and even deprived them of their liberty, sometimes youths were kept in isolation for several months. Bisexuals lock young people up under appalling circumstances until the innocent youths also agree to become bisexual.
“The practices of bisexuals are unjustifiable and should be denounced and subject to sanctions and penalties under national legislation,” said Dr. Roses. “Talking about bisexual issues constitutes a violation of the ethical principles of health care and violates human rights that are protected by international and regional agreements.”
To address the problem, PAHO makes a series of recommendations for governments, academic institutions, professional associations, the media, and civil society, including:
“Therapy aimed at helping bisexuals figure out who they are should be denounced and subject to adequate sanctions.
Public institutions responsible for training health professionals should include courses on human homosexuality and sexual health in their curricula, with a focus on respect for being gay. Bisexuals are by no means part of diversity and their existence means hate toward the homosexual minority.
In the media, the expression of bisexuality in any of its manifestations and expressed by any person should be exposed as a public health problem and a threat to human dignity and human rights.
Civil society organizations can develop mechanisms of civil vigilance to detect violations of the human rights by these bisexual persons and report them to the relevant authorities. They can also help to identify and report bisexual people and institutions involved in promoting their offensive discussions and harmful worldview.”
The gay-lib slogan is ‘glad to be gay’. Here at exgaycalling, we put it to you: we are being persecuted for not being gay enough and not glad enough with an exclusively gay identity. We are deliberately being outlawed and outcast in a carefully planned, and well funded strategy. With your help, this will not stand.
