Proposed ban in Massachussetts on reparative therapy

mass-houseIn Massachussetts, USA, the struggle to enforce a ban on reparative therapy is in full swing, after gay-lib lost the battle in twenty other states. On their website (massresistance.org), people from Massachussetts write:

“Around the USA gay-lib extremists are pushing their agenda more aggressively than ever in state legislatures, cities, and school districts. It is happening in state after state. School districts that seemed normal are now promoting “transgender” restrooms and locker rooms, capitulating to name and pronoun changes, and even avoiding the words “boys” and “girls”.

Nationally, three major types of legislation are being pushed by the extremist movements: (1) transgender public-accommodation “bathroom bill” laws; (2) extreme sexuality/homosexuality “health education” curricula mandated in schools; and (3) laws banning critical counseling for youth on “sexual orientation” problems.

The bill against counselling youngsters by others than gay-lib approved therapists, is basically a campaign of disinformation, propaganda, and manufactured hysteria. They tell lurid (and completely untrue) stories about children being electrocuted and other abuses by therapists. They’ve told legislators that therapy causes depression, anxiety, and self-destructive behavior – when it actually helps heal it. They’ve claimed that virtually all the problems that homosexuals suffer are caused by “prejudice in society,” not childhood experiences, abuse, or trauma.”

What is going on? What is the ban all about?

In the draft law on the ban, we read:

“The proposed Massachussetts bill proposes a ban, meant for “any licensed medical, mental health, or human service professional licensed under Chapter 112, including any psychologist, psychiatrist, social worker, psychiatric nurse, allied mental health and human services professional, licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed rehabilitation counselor, licensed mental health counselor, licensed educational psychologist, or any of their respective interns or trainees, or any other person designated or licensed as a mental health or human service professional under Massachusetts law or regulation.”

“The term “sexual orientation” shall mean having an orientation for or being identified as having an orientation for heterosexuality, bisexuality, or homosexuality.

“The term “Gender identity” shall mean a person’s gender-related identity, appearance or behavior, whether or not that gender-related identity, appearance or behavior is different from that traditionally associated with the person’s physiology or assigned sex at birth. Gender-related identity may be shown by providing evidence including, but not limited to, medical history, care or treatment of the gender-related identity, consistent and uniform assertion of the gender-related identity or any other evidence that the gender-related identity is sincerely held as part of a person’s core identity; provided, however, that gender-related identity shall not be asserted for any improper purpose.

mhn“Sexual orientation and gender identity change efforts” means any practice by a licensed professional that seeks or purports to impose change of an individual’s sexual orientation or gender identity. Such term includes practices to change an individual’s sexual orientation or gender identity. It does not include practices to provide acceptance, support, and understanding of an individual’s sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression and the facilitation of an individual’s coping, social support, and identity exploration and development, including interventions to prevent or address unlawful conduct or unsafe sexual practices.

“Under no circumstances shall a licensed professional advertise for or engage in sexual orientation and gender identity change efforts with a patient less than 18 years of age. Any licensed professional violating this prohibition shall be such subject to discipline by the board, which may include suspension or revocation of license.

“Any report including licensed professionals engaging in sexual orientation and gender identity change efforts as defined under section 169 of chapter 112 shall be filed within 30 days to the appropriate licensing board for review and possible suspension or revocation of license.”

49% of all kids are gay?

The ban means that no professional of any kind is to speak about heterosexual feelings with kids who wonder if their feelings are homosexual feelings and who have fears of perhaps becoming gay. Not even a nurse. Ever heard of conversion therapy nurses? Only people who affirm the kid in thinking he/she is gay, and who lead him to embrace a gay or transgender identity, are allowed to keep their job in Massachussetts.

Here at exgaycalling, we repeat (see our article) that the UK government in a recent study found that 49% of all youngsters in the UK report having felt some homosexual feelings, but that only 3% end up calling themselves homosexual at age 25. At age 60, it drops to 1%. With none of these kids then, is heterosexuality to be discussed or named as a possible part of everyone’s life.

Goodbye Sigmund Freud

The old idea of Sigmund Freud, who explained a century ago, that every person is innately bisexual, is being effectively banned from the public space by gaylib.

Policing your collegues

The criteria for finding you guilty as charged, are so broad, so vague and so inconsistent with any known and approved body of psychological/psychiatric knowledge, that a great amount of arbitrariness will arise when the licensing board has to interpret the new law. The licensing board, who will kick you out of your livelihood, does not comprise of official judges and has no official legal system with any jurisprudence, which has been subjected to democratic vote like dealing with real criminal felonies. No lawyers allowed, no higher appeal, just the local protocols of institutes. You are to be thrown to the dogs.

Why does gay-lib do this?

The anti-psychiatry movement which started in the sixties, has been defeated after twenty years of doing extensive harm to patients by denying their suffering, blaming the big bad world and refusing to acknowledge any real intrapersonal causes. It is now obsolete in psychiatry since 1990, only a small niche still survives in the homosexual ghetto. And it can survive there because all outside interference and criticism is labeled homophobic, abusive and harmful.

Political correctness

A blanket of political correctness is the new subtle way in which gay-lib can bully society back and throw their weight around. This whole exercise is, from our ex-gay point of view, an all out war on heterosexuality, a war which people are not recognizing. It is heterophobia, the underlying condition of feeling gay, refusing to acknowledge and come to terms with your innate bisexual capabilities. All gay guys and gay affirmative therapists suffer from it.

Age 12-18 is one long period of sexual identity search and change

When we observe the findings of 2015 of the UK government, where government officials saw homosexual feelings dropping from 49% of the youngsters to a mere 3% at age 25, the only sensible conclusion possible is that searching for, and changing your sexual identity is the primary thing going on during the years before becoming 21. It is change all around. Therefore when a youngster visits the youth department of mental health care, it is not the therapist changing the sexual identity as if it were his/her private agenda, it is the youngster asking questions and trying to figure it all out for himself. And the only help out there would be to affirm homosexual feelings? The UK study shows that youngsters do not really “know” who they are yet at age 12 for once and for all. Identity is always on the move in those years, and in more aspects than just the sexual issue. Gaylib activists have a knack of looking back in anger, but we feel that does not imply that they therefore are the ultimate source of knowledge, the only ones to speak on behalf of 49% of youngsters in the Western World.

Stop extremism.
